  • Comments Thread For: Challenger Outpoints Haywood; Wins For Fury, Woodstock

CJ Challenger picked up his first belt as he moved in to double figures. The clash, a 10-rounder for the vacant Midlands Area title at super-welterweight, took place at the Morningside Arena in Leicester. Challenger took on local rival Kyle Haywood in a tasty nip-and-tuck scrap that could have topped a smaller show, exclusively live on BT Sport, as part of the supporting cast to Sam Bowen's British super-featherweight title defence against Jordan McCorry.

Hadnt even realised BT were on tonight! I knew they clashed with a sky sports card but seems silly. Just looked at the cards, sky sports walks all over it - why clash on dates when you are completely outdone.

(I will be saying the same if Hearn insists on putting his DAZN card against Wilder - he has so far said he won’t change the date but hasn’t actually announced the fights yet!)
