It's a fair card, not great. Smith Jr we know runs hot and cold when in with a real fighter - he's lost that mystique and raw appeal he had when he first burst on the scene a while back as the local working-class fighter with dynamite in his hands.
Callum Johnson is a good fighter as he demonstrated against Beterbiev - but taking on a 37-year-old Monaghan is not exactly a step up.
I'm not sure about the rest of the card, but the talent stacked 175-pound division remains unlit and stagnant.

Fair comments all, Johnson against Monaghan should be fun while it lasts but I don't think anyone is expecting elite skills on display. I'd guess Callum will stop Seanie somewhere in the mid-rounds, but an upset is entirely possible. Joe Smith has that working class Joe back story and good - real good - power, but that's all, and everyone knows exactly what he's got now. If a fighter of Bivol's calibre allows anything solid to land he has only himself to blame. Expect to see Smith being unbalanced turned and peppered once Bivol figures his timing from maybe 3 onwards. Tough dude though, Smith, he might make it to the end - battered and bloody, sure, but still standing.
