  • Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios Feels Honored To Headline DAZN's Mexico Debut

Brandon Rios gets to check off two items from his bucket list by the time he steps into the ring this weekend. The former lightweight titlist and current welterweight hopeful will collide with Humberto Soto this Saturday at Auditorio Municipal in Soto's hometown of Tijuana, Mexico. The event will mark the first show to air live from Mexico on DAZN, with whom Rios is aligned through a promotional deal inked with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing USA last year.

Brandon Got more gift decisions that he deserves. He should have at least 3 more (L's) on his record. He not the worst but far from the best. think of uncle Bob As Santa all year round. Yet you said bye bye, Santa. If this were the 50's 60's nobody would even know his name. C level fighter....

Remember when he lost to Bradley and retired. Glad he came back.

Rios is done and needs to retire. As I understand it, he's financially well off to due to wise investments and the fact that he isn't living way beyond his means like other rich athletes do so he's obviously not doing it for the money.

It's crazy that DAZN will be in Mexico. HBO tried to get into the Mexican market but failed. Showtime didn't have the funds to enter at the time and ESPN only did the FNF

DAZN is looking to be global.

Didn't realize RIOS had a deal with DAZN. He keeps finding ways to make good money.

This is where DAZN belongs, they have put some shows on that would sell out a small bull fight arena. DAZN and World Class Boxing with Fernando Paramo. Must see TV.
