I'm a fan of hearn's 'keep active' approach to boxing, dela hoya is catching on too with his dazn deal..al haymon can learn a thing or two about that..although I wish it was against the best competition available

Manzanilla is coming off that big upset of Julio Ceja so I can't get too mad, but really want to see Vargas step up after this. Would love a unification against Roman or Navarrete. Cancio will come for war, but he's undersized and out-gunned, will be fun when it lasts but I really want to see Machado take the next step as well after this one.

Yeah but he still got fighters that dont have dates yet... he does have more dates than last year though but we will have to see who he would actually have active this year...

Unless you telling me that Vargas and Machado are in a unification bout against the other title holders I can't be mad at either opponent. Who else would you rather they fight? These should be entertaining fights Manzanilla is ranked number 8 on boxrec just shocked Julio Ceja. And Cancio just upset and shocked undefeated and highly regarded Sharibayev. Cancio career has been a rollercoaster but he can thump and that stoppage he got a few years ago over Rene Alvardo looks real good on his resume with the run Alvardo is on.

The problem is at both 130 and 122 you have all these champions but none are fighting each other. We need Machado, Tank, Berchelt, Farmer all fight each other. And at 122 we need the same.
