    The president of the World Boxing Association, Gilberto Mendoza, has revealed that Puerto Rico's Jesus Rojas was elevated to the stats of "regular" champion in the featherweight division. He'll make the first defense of that title on August 11 in California against once-beaten United States Olympian Joseph 'JoJo' Diaz.

    Was an awesome win for Rojas but he's taken waaaaay too long to make a move on the victory. He should of capitalized on it immediately because he's not getting younger and he needs more activity to land a big name fight.
