Former British champion Liam Williams has been handed a route back into contention after the BBBoC matched him against Asinia Bufield for the vacant British light-middleweight belt. The Board's latest title circular has revealed that the purse bids are due in by noon on Wednesday June 13 (as are all bids, unless stated otherwise) and that the contest must take place by the end of September.

I like what is going on here at 147. We've got Josh Kelly vs Kris George for the Commonwealth title, nice little fight. Then Gary Corcoran vs Paddy Gallagher on June 30th, good fight. Potentially Kelly vs Garton in maybe July or August, another decent step for Kelly. Then the winners fighting, would be a real solid fight. Then whoever comes out, most likely Kelly, goes on to fight Skeete for British title. Would be nice if it plays out this way
