Rules and rules?? There is logic to that when it is earlier in the tournament, and there are many other people waiting on one fighter if schedules changes. This is the final though, I’m sure the winner of this weekends fight would also rather wait for the other true finalist and would also want Groves’ WBA super title on the line also. If they don’t reschedule when all Groves should need is a few more weeks max, it really is farcical.

It may sell out but if Calum was to win everyone will say he needs to beat groves and if Eubank wins everyone will say groves is the real winner. The best thing to do is just wait until groves has healed.

There is no danger of Groves not being in the final. It is remarkable how smoothly the tournaments have both progressed up until now.

No real big injuries.

I hope Smith can rediscover his punching power and crumples Braehmer that fight will built on British terrestrial t.v for even longer. The upshot of Groves' injury being more money in the pot.

The issue is Smith is very quiet. He's not going to sell anything outside of his boxing. It'll be down to McGuigan and Joe Gallagher to put some spite into it.
