  • Comments Thread For: Ted Cheeseman Breaks Down, Decisions Carson Jones

London's Ted Cheeseman (12-0-0, 8KOs) steps up in class and beats the experienced Carson Jones (40-12-3, 30KOs) on points over 10 bruising rounds. The Bermondsey fighter won 99-91, 99-91, 100-90 on what seemed to be slightly generous scorecards to pick up the WBA International Super Welterweight title.

Really good performance from cheeseman there. I know Carson jones has faded a bit recently but still tough to dominate for 10 rounds. The scores were slightly too wide and I think jones deserved at least 2 rounds.

Nice W for Cheeseman. Carson a lil more worn down then he used to be, but still a nice guy to have on your resume for a up & coming prospect.

The condition these British fighters get into now with centralised systems and using the latest sports science is something else
You can see hes been doing squats and all kinda stuff and counting every protein thing
Not that long ago the Brits were just these weak honest triers

            "The Big Cheese"
            "The Hornet"

We're finally getting back to the boxing names we've deserved.
