Rooting for Shafikov, He put up great performances against the likes of Barthelemy and Easter Jr, arguably even won those fights

Also rooting for Shafikov... he was robbed against Robert Easter. There was another robbery earlier that night that was granted to another Ohio native. It was so bad the crowd in Ohio boo'd the decision that was granted, knowing how wrong that was... I don't remember the fighters, it was the first fight of the Easter-Shafikov card.

Golub? Yeah, dude got screwed over big time. Another dicey decision around that time (without bringing up Uzcategui vs Dirrell) was poor Kiryl Relikh who was given as little credit for his performance against Rances as he was in his previous fight against Ricky Burns. Kid could have made a decent case for being a unified champion, but is instead probably debating the merits of taking up a respectable trade with a slightly more reliable income.

He was not robbed(that word is used WAY to often)Most people/experts thought Easter won(as I did)But it was a pretty close fight. The prob was with scorecards being WAY too wide. But right man won in my opinion. And he got a dec vs commley that could have gone either way easy.(I had it a draw)So I don't think he has been treated bad by judges(again except for the way to wide scores in Easter fight.

Shak is too short for lightweight, he might be too short for jr light. At the upper levels, any handicap is exploited and walking through a blizzard of punches looks bad, no matter how well he takes them.
