NEW YORK Jarrell Miller's commitment to beating Mariusz Wach was evident when he stepped on the New York State Athletic Commission's scale Friday afternoon. Brooklyn's Miller weighed in at 283.4 pounds for their 10-round heavyweight fight Saturday night in Uniondale, New York. The 6-feet-4 Miller weighed 298 pounds for his last fight, a technical knockout win against Gerald Washington just 3 months ago at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Never thought i'd say this for a fighter but 283 lbs sounds good for Miller. Clearly he's a big stocky guy naturally and i think if he could gradually get down to 270-275 lbs he would be a beast.

When he fought Washington it looked like he was sort of dragging his punches because he's so heavy its like he weren't punching to his full potential power.
