  • Comments Thread For: Kovalev's Manager To Team Andre Ward: Talk is Very, Very Cheap!

Egis Klimas, manager of Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev (30-1-1, 26 KOs), sent a warning to Andre Ward and his handlers. Last November at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Ward (31-0, 15 KOs) got off the floor in the second round to box his way to a twelve round unanimous decision over Kovalev. All three judges scored it 114-113.

Someone's got to promote the fight...

Besides he was talking about the managers not Ward. He has a point, the managers shouldn't be talking. The fighters should.

So when Ward or his team say something "talk is cheap" but when Kov does it "someone's got to promote the fight"??? Ok, thank you for proving you will do anything bend anything for Kov. If you say talk is cheap, while your fighter is the one doing most of the talking (and losing in the actual fight. Fights aren't cheap and Ward already beat him once) then... well damn, something about a kettle, black, and a pot.

Unfortunately, the biggest money is to fight in Vegas, but everyone knows that the most rigged scorecards are found there, too. Luckily, this fight won't go the distance. Kov is going to carve him a new won and Ward will retire with all his cash and stories of how he won this one, too.

You're missing the point. What Klimas was saying is that the fighters should be the ones talking, not their promoters and managers.

Why a lying, idiot, arthole you are! Kovalov murdered him in the first fight. Ward survived by holding and running. And, of course, the Mayflower paid for the decision. Is that new?

Egis Klimas: “You can’t lie to the people’s eyes with what they saw on November 19. I’m not going to talk about it. I’m not going to go there because it’s already history. Forget about it"

So why you talk about it??? MORON!!!

And people eyes saw Ward making a great comeback to take an UD win! We saw Greatness!!!
