It wasn't nearly as easy for Jezreel Corrales this time, but he'll leave Japan with the WBC super featherweight title again.
Panama's Corrales defeated Japan's Takashi Uchiyama by split decision in their 12-round rematch Saturday in Tokyo. Judges Cesar Ramos (115-112), of Puerto Rico, and Philippe Verbeke (117-110), of Belgium, scored the fight for Corrales. A third judge, Australia's Derek Milham, had Uchiyama ahead after 12 rounds (114-113).

man, the knockdown in rd 5 happened right at the end of the rd. it didnt even look like a knockdown, a typical southpaw vs orthodox trip where Uchiyama had his left foot positioned outside of Corrales's right foot, seemed corrales was already on the way down to me

Did Idec even watch the fight? About as much info in that article as you'd find on boxrec.

Couldn't find a good stream so will have to wait for an upload, but seems Jezreel is for real.

Uchiyama was better. It is crazy how Japanese fighters don`t get decisions at home, even when they deserve it.
Taguchi Ryo also had a draw in a fight he was winning.
