Kareem clearly beat Eyubov who was a poorly disguised Ape with gloves. 9 out of 10 close fights always go to the unbeaten fighter who walks away having been defeated - and with an undeserved 1 in their win column and an undeserved zero in their loss column.

If you're talking about Kareem, he didn't lose that fight and in fact it was one of his best performances. Pure robbery.

A rematch? He just needs to move on.

Unfortunately the fight game is just rife with robberies like this. Its more the rule than the exception.

No point in rematching a fighter you beat but did not get the decision.
You might get robbed again or get a draw if you knock him out!!

I agree that Mayfield won the fight but at the same time it was boring and ugly and I wouldn't want to see that again.

The fight wasn't boring It was a pretty good scrap but Mayfield was clearly faster, landing more, solid head snapping shots even, getting off his punches first and scoring consistently. Was not a close fight, he got totally robbed. The only ugly in the fight was Eyubov caveman style and "skill". I think being that Mayfield already took some losses and that he was fighting an undefeated fighter that boxing politics wasn't in Mayfield's favor. He wasn't suppose to win. This is what sucks about the sport.
