    The World Boxing Association set a Guinness record by endorsing seven titles fights involving women, four world titles and three regional, to take place on Saturday as part of card called "Battle of Champions" - a scenario which has never happened in the boxing history.

      Really, not much here...Bopp fighting a girl that has 8 losses & lost her last 2...she's fine if she hides in A'Tina & stays away from real fighters likr Zamora & Chavez...

        No one cares about womens boxing anymore. It disappeared off the earth when Rijker, Ali, and Martin retired. Stick a fork in the sport, it is done, long done.

          This. You see good fighters here and there (Chris Namus comes to mind) throughout the years, but the competition isn't there enough even to gauge how good a fighter really is. With women's MMA picking up, women's boxing is only going to get worse off (as if that's actually possible).

          In a few countries I suppose it's better off (its much more of a thing in Mexico, right?) but here in the USA there is absolutely zero interest in seeing women box.
