    Ali became the face of boxing and through him we saw what heights the sport can take you. However, unfortunately we saw what depths the sport can take you to also. Shady promoters and accountants stole his money and forced him to fight way beyond his prime, which further damaged him neurologically! The 30/30 documentary on Ali vs. Holmes is just awful! The "Rope-a-Dope" was definitely not a long term strategy! R.I.P. to "The People's Champion!"

      Clay suffered for 35 years and was pitied felt sorry for by some

      Clay was a sad sickened person for the last 3 decades of his life. Parkinson is hard to live with as Clay/ali was pitied and felt sorry for. Not a nice way to live being stricken like that. Boxing lost a great warrior in Clay/ali not the greatest ever but surely a good fighter. Losses to Small Frazier. Ken Norton, Young Leon spinks, the beating by Holmes and the shame fight with Berbick made Clay just a good fighter.
