  • Comments Thread For: Salido Eyes November Return - Targets Vargas Rematch or Miura

After what was a hellacious twelve round affair on Saturday night from the StubHub Center in Carson, California, Zanfer Promotions and Orlando Salido who had to settle for a draw versus WBC 130-pound belt-holder, Francisco Vargas, are more than willing to do it again.

    Salido ducking Lomachenko doe.

Honestly, Miura vs Salido would be a fcking barn burner too and the winner would get another shot at the WBC champion in a rematch. In the meantime Vargas can heal up and get back into fighting shape for Miura/Salido II in 2017.

A different view would be to have the fight in Texas maybe San Antonio where 2 Mexicans can still draw a huge crowd, like the Alamo Dome...

Martinez didn't cry so hard, as Loma and his fans, about a rough fight, he went 24 rounds with Salido. Martinez might have a little say so, if he doesn't drain himself making weight.

I don't know if you're kidding or not, but I haven't seen anyone say Salido is ducking Lomachenko. If anything I hear the opposite all of the time.

Lomachenko has NEVER made any excuses for the Salido fight, so get that right. The only thing he has said was that the only thing he learned in that fight was how to throw low blows, and that was said in a more joking manner, if you want to consider that "crying", then go right ahead.
He said if the judges saw Salido winning then he has to respect the decision.
His fans have defended and it's understandable. Nobody else is going to do it, so why not his fans!!!?

Salido has nothing to be ashamed of. The guy is tough as nails, and could beat either Vargas or Miura on any given day. Bring on Miura or Vargas II. Let's do it.
