    I applaud the WBC for making this rule to protect boxers health. As a referee in the amateur ranks I feel it's important to teach these rules early on so it is cemented when the next generation of boxers reach the professional ranks. Bravo to the WBC for doing something right. Godspeed and get well soon Prichard Colon

          Respect to the WBC for this (something you won't see me saying very often). Be nice if commissions took this action too. The amount of rabbit punches that get lil to no warning in fights is troubling.

              Sounds good & let wbc address the ref who can' t count the 4 knockdown the Filipino scored yesterday that was not "counted", horrible...

                  agree, that garbage should be banned from boxing and the trash ref would reprimand Prichard for complaining through the whole fight, so tragic

                    They pretty much have to take action. Once something manifests itself as a problem, they will have to take reasonable steps to prevent it from happening again otherwise it would be a question of "This happened in the past. Why didn't you take steps to prevent this from happening" in a lawsuit for negligence.
