    Andre Ward's return to HBO didn't exactly set the industry ablaze, but it was enough to get the ball rolling for a highly anticipated light heavyweight showdown with Sergey Kovalev later this fall.

    The unbeaten former super middleweight king enjoyed a successful debut as a full-fledged light heavyweight, scoring a lopsided 12-round decision win over Sullivan Barrera at the Oracle Arena in his hometown of Oakland, Calif. Their March 26 HBO-televised headliner played to an average of 1.064 million viewers, with a peak audience of 1.152 million viewers.

        WOW lmao, another fail. Again, nobody cares about Ward. He draws no interest and this proves it. This is the average that tunes in to HBO boxing regardless of who is fighting.

        Wards comeback and first fight at LHW, and no one gave a ****. Did worse than Gennady-Monroe Jr which was just another fight.

            Golovkin Monroe only did 1.3 million man..not a huge difference at all

                Yep... Luis Ortiz-Tony Thompson cost 20% of this event and got 80% of the viewership.

                  I dont think you get how boxing works at all, they are building towards a big fight that will cover all of these expenses..
