At 36 years old he's finally decided that he might need to learn some decent boxing craft? Right. Kind of tells you where the heavyweight division is.

Did he not think to add some of these basic weapons to his arsenal earlier? Maybe, in his teens, or even his early twenties?

I like that he thinks basic fitness is important at the world championship level of boxing though. That's good to hear. I would certainly agree that to become a world champion he might need the fitness to be able to throw some good punches for the whole fight. Not a bad idea.

Clearly he's been doing his homework and come to the realisation that to succeed in boxing one needs a decent level of fitness.
