Say what y'all want, his hand speed and accuracy are impressive for a man his size. If he keeps getting better he may be the future HW king. Power is undeniable, he just needs to be able to eat a solid shot and he will be a threat to beat anyone.

Is his accuracy that great? He has a very nice short one-two, but how many times have we seen him just swinging for the fences and hitting air? Duhaupas, a face first stalker not known for his head movement, was able to constantly make Wilder whiff his shots by just ducking under them. That speaks poorly of his handspeed as well, or at least his ability to hide a shot.

His punch resistance we already know a good deal about. He can be rocked and dropped by not particularly hard shots and tends to mark up around the eyes. He's not got a glass chin, but it's a definite liability for him.

I think this will be the first fight since Stiverne where Deontay doesn't get in trouble.

He was in survival mode a few times in his last couple fights with TBA and whatshisface.

Szpilka is about the same level as those guys but Deontay will be a little wiser and more cautious since the fight is higher profile.

In hindsight we either have to believe Stiverne was REALLY sick or REALLY overrated. Duhauappaoops and TBA Molina both had Wilder in deeper **** than he did.
