Fred Evans has signed a long-term professional contract with Sanigar Events.

The Welshman, 24, has turned over to the paid code after a decorated amateur career during which he represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics in London, picking up a silver medal in the welterweight (69kg) category after losing in the final to Kazakh boxer Serik Sapiyev.
