Chris Eubank Jr won the final eliminator for Daniel Jacobs' WBA middleweight title after overpowering tough Irishman Gary O'Sullivan in seven rounds at The O2.

An action-packed fight concluded after the seventh when O'Sullivan's corner withdrew him from the contest with the 31-year-old from Cork fading before Eubank's onslaught.

Really good performance tonight.

He took some risks that he really didn't have to and shouldn't have in order to try and hurt O'Sullivan badly for his pre-fight antics, his chin allowed him to do so. Outside of that though, he was terrific. Great combinations to head and body, good defensive work and head/upper body movement, good punch selection...I was very pleased with that display.
