Both legs of Saturday's televised edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC Sports Network have satisfied all weight terms for their respective title elimination bouts.
As per terms of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), any fight with the organization's sanctioning comes with the condition of having a second weigh-in the morning of the event. Boxers are not permitted to gain more than 10 lbs. above the contracted weight during such session.
The evening's main event pits Kevin Bizier versus Fredrick Lawson in a welterweight eliminator, with the winner to next face unbeaten champ Kell Brook.
Both fighters were required to weigh 157 lbs. or less during Saturday's same-day safety check. Bizier (24-2, 16KOs) arrived this morning at 151 lbs. for his first pro fight in the United States, gaining just 4.4 lbs. above his official pre-fight weight of 146.6 lbs.
