Studio City, California - Light heavyweight Trevor McCumby stopped Brian Holstein (10-3, 7 KOs) in the first round. McCumby (20-0, 16 KOs) dropped Holstein three times, prompting referee Thomas Taylor to stop the bout after the third knockdown at 2:52. McCumby is scheduled to return to the ring on October 17.
Lightweight Urmat Ryskeldiev (11-3-1, 7 KOs) stopped Yusmani Abreu (4-12-2) after the fourth round when Abreu did not come out for the fifth round.
