  • Comments Thread For: Holt: Eventually They'll Ask for Mayweather-Klitschko

Former champion Kendall Holt has not fought since February of 2013, when he was stopped by Lamont Peterson in a junior welterweight title fight. Holt still follows the sport very closely and occasionally gets the itch to return.

One of the recent topics circulating around is the question mark surrounding the next opponent for Floyd Mayweather's upcoming defense of his welterweight titles on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Plus, the begging from Golovkin is getting cringe worthy

Eh, I wouldn't mind it to be honest.

        Lol it's just Golovkin.

From reading these comments people would think GGG would be 7' 1" built like a primed Arnold.

lmao give it a rest. He's only 1 division north.

Logic goes out the window for some guys when it comes to Floyd. Their agenda amounts to nothing more, than to find someone who can beat him at all costs.

First it was Manny and now its GGG

Total madness from mentally sick, Xbox\Playstation based boxing fans

2 divisions north*. Floyd was never a true 154 pounder, only went up there to cash out.

They're so scared of GGG they think he's as big as Klitschko.

LOL @ people crying whenever Floyd is asked to fight a top fighter in his prime...

Guess that BS win he got over Manny 5 years too late was supposed to impress us along with rest of those subpar names or Pacquiao left overs

funny thing is floyd would probably make kilshko look silly for a round or two!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol @ this racial comment but will it get it a pass...

The media actually goes out of it's way to kiss Floyd's ass as you know... he gets credit for winning rounds where he just pot shots and runs..it's called Floyd scoring as you know...

It only took 6 years and a knockout to get Pacquiao, let's not get carried away now. There were a lot of plausible fights we asked for and didn't get and there were even more fights NOBODY asked for...Baldomir? Judah? Guerrero? Marquez from 135? etc.

I sometimes feel like these fighters and fans are mistaking Golovkin for Kovalev. It's really a testament to Triple G just how shook he has these dudes.
