  • Comments Thread For: Roman Gonzalez Destroys Edgar Sosa in Two Rounds

The Forum, Inglewood, California - In his most high profile fight on American soil, WBC flyweight champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (43-0, 36KOs) made his HBO televised debut with a two round demolition of Mexican veteran and former champion Edgar Sosa (51-9, 30KOs). Gonzalez was battering Sosa quickly in the first round. At the start of the second, Sosa was dropped from a high volume of punches and went down a second time pretty quickly. It didn't take long before Gonzalez started unloading the kitchen and sent Sosa down for a third time and the referee waved off the contest.

Roman beat an old washed up boxer. HBO really wants to sell him, all over his nutz. I do like his style very entertaining.

Not surprised HBO didn't mention Juan Francisco Estrada in the post fight interview, . Estrada will bring the hype train to a screeching halt.

Must be like having two guys throwing at you at the same time, Sosa could not get away. Brilliant stuff.

He can rematch Juan Francisco Estrada at 112 and move up 3 lbs to fight Inoue or Cuadras.
                    He has opponents
