  • Comments Thread For: Early Fight Results From Hull: Rocky Fielding Wins

Rocky Fielding (20-0, 11 KO’s) returned to the ring following a long layoff caused by a hand injury to score an 80-72 points victory over Olegs Fedotovs (19-19, 13 KO’s) on the card of referee Michael Alexander.

The contest proved to be a glorified sparring session for Fielding, the former unbeaten Commonwealth champion, as he went through the motions against Fedotovs who proved to be a tough but limited opponent.

Well that was some bull skit coyle is a glass chinned disaster waiting to happen (again) . Don't mean to sound a prick but I think Gethin took a back hander . He knocked him down big time then sat back and did feck all for the next two rounds then quit ???

Cambell will tear him a new one

That Saunders looked a complete prick too

Only good thing to come out of tonight's boxing was Sam eggington looks a proper hard little Kent can't wait to see him fight again

Coyle VS Flanagan next please & while I'm here the BBBofC need to get a grip on the Paul Smith issue & make him defend or relinquish!

Dead right there. Smith showed himself a decent fighter with heart though clearly beaten by Abraham the second time and might well have out-busied Abe in their first go, but that doesn't entitle him to just sit on the British title and not defend. Don't rate Bradley Saunders. He was highly world ranked in the amateurs but it's very hard to see him match that as a pro. Luke Campbell and Tommy Coyle will be entertaining, briefly, because Coyle's coming with pride and commitment - but it's a mis-match. Campbell has way too much speed, accuracy and class.

Paul Butler's another one. He's not defended the Lonsdale belt in years, but still holds it. Hopefully Kal Yafai & Jamie Conlan get a fair crack at the whip!
