  • Comments Thread For: Photos: Haymon Spares No Expense in PBC Production

Al Haymon has spared no expense with the production of Saturday's debut edition of his new boxing series, Premier Boxing Champions. The NBC televised card takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. A very large six figure amount was spent on giving this debut PBC event an explosive boost for television viewers. The card is a televised tripleheader with a welterweight main event between WBA 'regular' champion Keith Thurman defending against Robert Guerrero. The co-feature will have former three division world champion Adrien Broner facing dangerous John Molina, and former three division world champion Abner Mares will open things up against countryman Arturo Reyes.

That's some high quality production going on. Tip my hat off to Haymon.

Pays his fighters more than anyone else in the game ... Getting the sport the kind of publicity it hasn't seen in damn near a half a century... But he's bad for the sport doe

Looks like a PPV setup. That aside, couple really good matchups. I'm excited.
