Oswaldo Novoa returns to the ring for the first time since his losing his strawweight title to the excellent Wanheng Menayothin last November. The diminutive former champ climbs back up the scales to the junior flyweight division, where he faces Mario Andrade.
The bout - scheduled for 10-rounds - takes place Saturday evening at Centro de Espectaculos in Hidalgo, Mexico. Novoa recorded his last career win and lone successful title defense at the venue, stopping Alcides Martinez in eight rounds last June.
