O2 Arena, Berlin, Germany- Cruiserweight Noel Gevor opened Sauerland Eventīs big show at the O2 Arena and moved to 16-0 with a unanimous eight round decision over tough Argentinian Alejandro Emilio Valori (16-7). It was hard fought all the way. Valori was in Gevorīs face all fight long forcing his opponent to fight off the ropes in most rounds. Gevor was a little too sharp though and the best punches came from him. Valori slipped on the canvas in the seventh and Gevor hurt him moments later with a left hook to the body and the Argentinian tired badly after that, but gave Noel a good learning fight. It was scored 78-74 on all cards at the end.

Considering that he weighed 4.5lbs heavier than his overmatched opponent yesterday, this is no surprise. Terrible, pointless fight for Warrington to have at this stage of his career.

He's probably staying active for his fight in a few weeks. I don't see the issues with fighters beating people up in between serious fights.

Price still looks proper gun shy. Don't think he'll ever regain confidence.

Smith done well for a limited guy. Thought in the first fight it was a close loss but this time something like 9-3 sounds about right (generous a little). Head held high, he done himself proud.

Another Sauerland "champion" makes another pointless "defense" of his paper belt. As is the case with Braehmer, the only interesting thing is to see how long Sauerland can milk a fake title against C-level opposition in front of the home folk. Effing genius promoters if you ask me. They know their audience and get everything they can from them
