  • Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr. Erupts Over Froch/Ramirez, Talks Golovkin

Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32 KOs) took a lot of people by surprise by bringing back his uncle, Rodolfo Chavez, as head trainer. Chavez is currently making changes to his team and switching things around for a planned return in the early months of 2015.

Chavez denied recent reports that his team has resumed discussions for a possible fight with Carl Froch in early 2015. The Mexican fighter is currently in a legal battle with Top Rank over his promotional contract. He claims the contract is expired. They claim the contract is still valid.

Of course Bob Arum doesn't want anybody to help him. He likes to have his boxers by the balls just like he does with Pacquiao.

Jr needs to grow some nut's & fight Froch. He's destined never to be as good as his Father "which he never will" unless he takes a chance!

Bob Arum did say a few days ago that he offered Chavez Jr. a fight with Carl Froch and Gilberto Ramirez.

I don't doubt that team Froch thought they were close to an agreement, but they were only close to an agreement with Bob Arum. Arum didn't bother to tell team Froch that he had not even spoken to Chavez Jr. about the fight.
