  • Comments Thread For: Brian Viloria on Roman Gonzalez, Ruenroeng, More

Earlier this year, Brian Viloria returned to action winning two bouts to put himself back in the flyweight title picture.

With his next move still currently to be decided the 33-year old Hawaiian native has enjoyed the summer off with his wife newborn son.

Viloria (34-4-0-2 NC, 20 knockouts) has kept a keen eye on the 112-pound weight class, with all four of the main sanctioning body’s belts on the line earlier this month.

The likeable Viloria didn’t see the WBC title fight between Akira Yaegashi-Roman Gonzalez but is familiar with both.

Would love to see this fight. Roman beats him. But it'll be fun while it lasts.

Man I hate the fact that Viloria is getting old in a young man's sport. He is always entertaining and puts on a great show everytime he steps in the ring.

Sadly I don't see him beating neither Roman nor Estrada for their belts, however they would be fun fights to watch. Estrada coasts to a UD, even easier than the first while Roman possibly stops Viloria. Tough feat but Gonzalez can pull it off.

Amnat Ruenroeng is his safest bet. Unless Shimming gets to him first and somehow manages to rip the belt from his grasp, then Shimming would be the easiest champion to stalk down at the weight.

Hope Viloria pulls it off. Glad to see him enjoying his baby and spending quality time with his family.
