Hughie Fury 14-0 (8) has had to withdraw from the Tyson Fury-Dereck Chisora II undercard on July 26 due to illness.

The 19-year-old was hoping to build on a career best win against Danny Hughes, 12-3-2 (3) in his last fight but the effects of a currently undiagnosed condition have forced him out of action.

There was a point when it seemed he was fighting every other week. He was setting a relentless pace for a teenager. He will be a frightening prospect when 100% fit and ready.

Peter says that Hughie has only been fighting at 50%. Obviously you have to take what his dad says with a pinch of salt though. I hope he recovers soon. He's a very good prospect IMHO.

Hughie has had this illness for a number of years, and he has been training and fighting through it. The symptoms are getting worse though so boxing is going to have to take a back seat while he deals with it.
