Hall of Fame trainer Ignacio “Nacho” Beristain is one of the most renowned and respected trainers in the sport of boxing. He’s trained numerous world champions and currently trains Juan Manuel Marquez who has a tough assignment Saturday night against Mile High Mike Alvarado.

Beristain has faced many fighters in his career as a trainer but there is one fighter he always holds in high regard and that is boxing’s pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather. In an interview conducted with BoxingScene in the past, Beristain even said he felt the only way to beat Mayweather was with a bat; a testament to how difficult Beristain sees the feat of dethroning the reigning WBC and WBA Welterweight champion.

Yep, Floyd fought Maidana's fight and he still won. Good analysis by Nacho.

come out come out wherever you are (haters that is) - youtube Alex Ariza on the Mayweather fight and see what he has to say. The interview is in his hotel room right after the fight, and the amount of respect he gives Mayweather. He said he did not realize how strong Mayweather was, and that Maidana was landing on him and that he and Robert was surprised that Mayweather would come out for the next round, and the mid fight adjustment Floyd made. He gave Floyd serious props and even said that Maidana told him how hard Floyd was to fight, the changing of tempos, his defense, his punch placement, he said he see's why Floyd is the best, and this is coming from Alex Ariza, it was good to see, and it should shut a lot of the Haters up - Floyd trains everyday, you cannot say that about 96% of the fighters out there 2day. Floyd fought Maidana weighing only 148 to Maidana's 165, and the most crucial aspect is he did it Maidana's way . Everyone in Maidanas camp admitted his loss, every boxer interviewed said Floyd won, its just these Texas judges on this site that are too biased to acknowledge what they saw..

Floyd won the fight, fair and square. Granted, he struggled with Maidana more than he ever should have. Maidana had a great game plan that he didn't execute down the stretch....or and more than likely, Floyd adjusted and did what he had to do like any other ATG in a tough fight.
