  • Comments Thread For: Marquez: Fans Want Pacquiao-Mayweather, Not Part 5!

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez has once again dismissed the possibility of a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao. Marquez us training hard for his upcoming fight with Mike Alvarado on May 17th at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum had promised to match the Marquez-Alvarado winner against the winner of last week's rematch between Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. Pacquiao won a twelve round unanimous decision.

    Pac should retire
piss drinker should retire win, lose, or draw vs Alvarado
Floyd can do whatever the hell he wants, he's still doing ok
he could retire too if so inclined, nothing interesting but a Lara fight
and even that isn't interesting in terms of entertainment value

Good stuff. I don't really care for a 5th Pac Marquez fight.

No other fight for Pacquiao is left. Mayweather or nothing.

Since you are ignorant, I will tell you that Floyd has a contractual obligation to fight on a bit longer. He's seemingly set to retire after that. Understand, nasty one?

don't give a fuck about Floyd's Showtime deal
talking strictly from a fan's perspective
Floyd has nothing interesting left to do at this point
fine if he fights on, fine if he retires
personally, only a Lara fight would pique interest

Great news! I hope JMM stick to his words and not give in to the old bastard. This will put Arum in a bad position to choose between Ruslan or Alvarado for Manny's next fight.

Even though Pacquiao is now clearly not the monster he used to be, I still wanna see this fight.
