WBA/WBO junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia, and his father/trainer Angel Garcia, arrived in Puerto Rico for Tuesday's press conference, where it will be officially announced that Garcia will defend his titles in a Showtime televised main event against Mauricio Herrera at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He IS a big 140, but he's young. He could end up as high as 140 depending on how his musculature develops or how cleanly (or not) he lives. Definitely will be at 147 soon though. Looked pretty gaunt in the weigh in vs Matty.

This is going to be a SHOWCASE performance for Danny vs Herrera. Im happy cuz hes realizing his core fanbase which is his ppl, afterall thats how Canelo and Chavez are big without fiting too much real opposition.

I think if he keeps building himself up like this he can take Cotto's place for his ppl.

He's most likely the same weight as his fight night weight which is about 152-154.
