World ranked straweights, Gilberto "El Cacique" Pedroza (10-1-2) and Carlos "Araņita" Ortega (8-3-2), both from Panama, fought to a draw in the main event of the "Todo o Nada" boxing card presented by Promociones del Istmo at Fantastic Casino Albrook Mall in Panama City.
After 8 intense rounds of action, Pedroza recovered from a point deduction in round 6 to escape with both the WBC Fecarbox and the Panamanian minimumweight belts.
Most of the crowd agreed with judge Fernando Murray who scored 77-75 in favor of Ortega. David Singh voted a 76-76 draw and Jesus Aleman gave a 76-75 advantage to Pedroza who successfuly defended the titles.
