IN A dramatic four minutes and 58 seconds, Josh Webb's fight for the Queensland light heavyweight title against Philip Maley featured two knock-downs, a lot of blood and a contentious technical draw.
Webb was trying to add the Queensland title to the Victorian belt he won earlier in the year when he took on Sunshine Coaster Maley at Gold Coast Turf Club on Sunday.
Maley was on top early, landing two strong body blows on Webb.
The shots dropped the Toowoomba boxer twice in the first round and had trainer Brandon Wood thinking his charge was in trouble.
