AUSTRALIA's Blake Caparello (17-0-1, 6 KOs) had his final sparring session earlier today ahead of his scheduled twelve-round championship fight against former world title challenger and Super Six contestant Allan 'Sweetness' Green (33-4, 22 KOs) on Thursday October 17th at The Melbourne Pavilion.
The fight, which will air nationally on Fox Sports Australia will be for the vacant IBO light heavyweight title, previously held by future Hall of Famers Roy Jones Jr and Antonio Tarver, as well as Chad Dawson and Jean Pascal in more recent times.
Caparello, 27, who is fresh from a training camp in Canada with Jean Pascal, Eleider Alvarez and Artur Beterbiev is widely regarded as one of Australia's brightest prospects, having seen off a variety of challengers, most notably International opponents Aaron Pryor Jr, Robert Berridge and Joseph Kwadjo with relative ease throughout a professional career that is yet to span over four years.
