(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – USA Boxing’s best male youth athletes will make the long journey to Berdichev, Ukraine to test their skills against fellow 17 and 18-year-old competitors in the Klitchko Brothers Tournament, June 17-23.
The U.S. squad, which is made up of the 10 youth titlists from the 2013 USA Boxing National Championships, will depart tomorrow for the international competition. The national champions representing the United States at the event are: light flyweight Gilbert Renteria (Houston, Texas), flyweight Antonio Vargas (Kissimmee, Fla.), bantamweight Jarico O'Quinn (Lansing, Mich.), lightweight Lamont Roach (Upper Marlboro, Md.), light welterweight Alexis Urbina (Phoenix, Ariz.), welterweight Kareem Martin (Clinton, Md.), middleweight Alex Rincon (Carrollton, Texas), light heavyweight Elvis Figueroa (New Haven, Conn.), heavyweight John Luna (Milwaukee, Wis.), and Ronnie Cleland II (Butte, Mont.).
