The staff of BoxingScene.com is very sad to learn of the shooting death of Jhonny Gonzalez, a correspondent who had written numerous articles for this website during the past three years.
Gonzalez’s death was reported by Venezuelan media company Cadena Capriles — for whom he worked as a night editor and boxing writer.
He was killed at 1:55 this morning. The Cadena Capriles article said Gonzalez was in his car when people in another vehicle and a motorcycle approached him and shot him three times.
