The lawsuit pertaining to the promotional contract of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs) continues to play out at the Miami-Dade court in Florida. Promoter Tuto Zabala Jr. of All Star Boxing filed the lawsuit in 2011 against Canelo and Golden Boy Promotions.
Zabala claims that Canelo breached a four year contract that was signed in September 2008 for a four year period, and the second claim alleges that Golden Boy interfered with his contract when they signed him up.
