Former WBC heavyweight champion Oliver McCall (56-12, 37 KOs) will be back in the ring on May 18 at Arena Hall in Legionowo, Poland. The American veteran will face 29-year old Krzysztof Zimnoch (14-0-1, 11 KOs). The bout is scheduled for 8 rounds.
The almost 48-year old “The Atomic Bull” won the WBC heavyweight title in September of 1994 by beating favored Lennox Lewis, but lost the belt in the second defense by dropping a unanimous decision to Frank Bruno. McCall has been out of boxing since his loss to Francesco Pianeta in May last year.
