Tomasz Adamek had four fights in 2012, the last three against difficult opponents (Chambers, Walker, and Cunningham).

He needs an easier opponent like Grano right now.

Grano is alotta fun to watch, and the KO of Travis Kaufmann was wild. I'd actually give him a good chance vs Adamek. He has trouble usually with the big HWs, but Adamek isn't really anything more than a blown up CW, so it would be a good fight. Let's see what excuse Tomas comes up with this time.

Why on earth is that? :conf1: He hasn't lost officially since the Vitali fight, so he should be facing nothing but top opposition if he intends to stick around and earn himself another title shot. Otherwise, what else is he doing at HW?

grano holds the NABF title which i think adamek vacated when he fought vitali. if he beats grano he will been in striking distance of another WBC title shot & it won't be vs vitali who will be retired. if the arreola\stiverne fight were to become for the vacant title then adamek would be a nice first defence for arreola. of course fury is next in line for the winner of arreola\stiverne & an adamek\fury showdown would draw pretty good ratings in the US, poland or england...let's face it, adamek is nearing the end & if he actually wants a title shot the IBF route, he has to face pulev then wlad unless wlad gives him a voluntary. he might not get past pulev. if he beats grano he has fury & arreola\stiverne winner to beat. he already has a win over arreola & fury is vulnerable. the WBC route looks easier & he can still get paid really well.

I lost a lot of respect for Adamek after his drunken driving and pulling out from the Pulev fight. Seems the guy's just after a couple more paydays and then retirement. He's had a terrific career, but this is disappointing....
