Bernard Hopkins is 15-0 in Atlantic City since losing his four-round pro debut by majority decision there to Clinton Mitchell in October 1988.

Three of his biggest wins in recent years — against Kelly Pavlik, Antonio Tarver and William Joppy — occurred at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall. And fighting in Atlantic City, about a 60-mile drive from his native Philadelphia, is about as close to a hometown fight as Hopkins could get without actually boxing within the limits of “The City of Brotherly Love.”

Hopkins is improving. He only repeats points 3 times. It fills up the page. He'll be taking over the title from Teddy Atlas if he keeps it up. He and Richardson must practice all this PR Bumpfh together because Richardsons loooooong interview yesterday was only about 6 points, all repeated 10 different times each. The Mayweathers do the very same thing adding some ****y language. These half illiterate guys, good boxers and trainers though they might be, seem to get intoxicated on words, and just blather away. The most amusing of course is Teddy whose mangled syntax and mispronounced words are better than Jake La Motta at his best.
