  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin’s Manager: N’Jikam Has Refused to Fight Gennady

Oleg Hermann, manager of WBA “regular” middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (22-0, 19 KOs), informed Allboxing.ru, that certain obstacles have been removed to prevent a fight between his boxer and the WBA's "super champion" at 160-pounds, Felix Sturm (36-2-2, 15 KOs). A fight was ordered between Golovkin and WBA interim-champ Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (26-0, 17 KOs), but on Wednesday night the French boxer vacated his title and walked away from the fight.

No N'Jikam, no Sturm. So go chase Pirog now.

      WTF?

I wanna see Golovkin-Vera on an undercard for his US debut.

The WBA needs to strip Sturm and N'Jikam if they want to duck Golovkin. This is getting quite ridiculous. Gennady needs to forget about them.

The MW division is annoying as hell.

          Martinez wont fight Pirog
          N’Jikam wont fight Gennady
          Sturm wont fight Gennady
          Zbik wont fight Proksa
          Sturm wont fight Andy Lee
          Andy Lee wont Peter Quillin

This is why they need a "super six" style tournament. Force all these jerks fight eachother.

I still don't understand why Pirog vs Golovkin can't be made. Pirog could offer Golovkin 50/50 (even less) from those million dollar checks he gets in Russia. There's zero obstacles between them.

Pirog wants better competition. Golovkin wants a title. Nobody wants to fight Pirog. Nobody wants to fight Golovkin.

According to Eddie Hearn, he's in advanced talks to make Darren Barker vs Pirog
