Las Vegas, Nevada - The Nevada State Athletic Commission has revoked the boxing license of former champion Joel Casamayor (38-6-1, 22KOs) and fined him $10,000. Casamayor no-showed a scheduled hearing on Wednesday. The boxer tested positive for marijuana in the aftermath of his eight round TKO loss to WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley from last November at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
