By Ryan Burton - Boxingscene recently caught up with undefeated super middleweight Anthony Dirrell. The Flint, Michigan native takes on Renan St. Juste on December 2nd on the latest edition of ShoBox.
The fight is a WBC eliminator to determine Andre Ward's mandatory challenger. Ward of course has his title on the line when he faces Carl Froch on December 17th in the Super Six finals.
Dirrell hopes to make the jump from prospect status to contender status after his upcoming fight. He told Boxingscene that regardless of the outcome of the Ward-Froch fight that he hopes to enjoy a big 2012 campaign.
