During a radio interview with BoxingScene.com's Carlos Irusta, former WBO super featherweight champion Jorge "La Hyena "Barrios confirmed an earlier story on BoxingScene, that he postponed a planned return on July 29 because a deal is nearly complete to fight former triple world champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales of Mexico on September 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight would take place on the undercard of the mega star clash between the welterweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Victor Ortiz, and superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr., with HBO televising.
