    The weights are in. Beibut Shumenov (10-1, 6KOs) and William Joppy (39-6-2, 30 KOs) made weight for Saturday's fight in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Shumenov's WBA 175-pound title is on the line. Shumenov, who was initially scheduled to unify with WBO Juergen Braehmer, came in at the division limit of 175-pounds. For his part, former middleweight champion Joppy was 174.5 pounds.

          Can someone explain how joppy is fighting for a world title? He is 2-2-1 in his last five fights according to boxrec. Did i miss something here? And then people complain about the current state of boxing.

            easy, hes Braehmer's replacement. He was an undercard fighter in this event.
